Taraf, the newly launched real estate development arm of Yas Holding, announced “Luce”, its first luxury residential project on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The luxury development will house two to four bedroom units, along with a duplex and a penthouse.
Real Estate Developer DarGlobal has awarded the main works contract for its W Residences project in Dubai to China State Construction Engineering Corporation.
The deal is valued at US$74.3 million and the construction works are expected to begin soon.
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince announced the launch of the New Murabba Development Co. and the New Murabba project which will offer more than 25 million sq. km of floor area, 104,000 residential units, 9,000 hotel rooms, 980,000 sq. m of retail space, 1.4 million sq. m of office space, 620,000 sq. m of leisure assets, and 1.8 million sq. m of community facilities.
The project will include an iconic museum, a technology and design university, a multipurpose immersive theater, and more than 80 entertainment and cultural venues.
Kier International was awarded a US $18.3mn contract for Qiddiya Water Theme Park to provide engineering, design, electrical and communications, and electromechanical works for the project. Qiddiya Water Theme Park is billed as the Kingdom’s first and the region’s largest water theme park.
SNC-Lavalin, Jacobs and Jasara have been confirmed as delivery partners for the Saudi Arabian Neom project’s The Line linear city.
In collaboration with Neom and other delivery partners, SNC-Lavalin will provide project and construction management consultancy services for the design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the project.
In Oman, The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism signed an agreement with Eagle Hills Real Estate Company to develop the Mandarin Oriental project at Qurum Beach in Muscat.
The project will comprise a 150-room 5-star hotel and 156 residential units, in addition to recreational facilities and gardens and is expected to be opened in the third quarter of 2024.
In news from Egypt, El-Attal Holding announces the launch of its first project in West Cairo, West Leaves a mixed-use residential, commercial, and administrative project.
It comprises 4 distinct phases, including 120,000 sqm of residential units, 17,000 sqm of administrative units and 30,000 sqm of commercial units. Consultant Architect Engineer Raef Fahmi will be responsible for the project’s engineering design.
