Qatar announced its plans to build a $1 billion blue ammonia plant with a capacity of 1.2 million tonnes a year. QatarEnergy signed agreements with Industries Qatar QSC and its subsidiary, Qatar Fertiliser Co., to develop the project. ThyssenKrupp AG and Consolidated Contractors Company have been awarded the contract for the plant named Ammonia-7.
Oman’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals, and Oman Tank Terminal Company, a subsidiary of OQ Group, signed a framework agreement to develop a new oil pipeline to export Oman blend crude from Ras Markaz Crude Oil Terminal in Duqm. The pipeline will be connected to Tank Terminals infrastructure to transfer, store and export Oman blend crude from the Terminal.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced the award of five framework agreements valued at $1.83 billion for Directional Drilling and Logging While Drilling to support its efforts to expand the production capacity of its low-carbon oil and gas resources. The awards cover ADNOC’s onshore and offshore fields and will run for five years with an option for a further two years.
The agreements were signed with – Al Ghaith Oilfield Supplies and Services Company, Al Mansoori Directional Drilling Services, Schlumberger Middle East, Haliburton and Weatherford Bin Hamoodah Company.

State-owned National Housing Co. (NHC) has signed agreements with four real estate companies to develop housing projects in Dammam and Qatif in Saudi Arabia.
The agreements were signed with Tilal Real Estate Company, Sumou Real Estate Company, Maya Real Estate Development and Investment Company, and Tamkeen Real Estate Development Company for the second phase residential project in the Al-Wajiha suburb in Dammam. In Egypt, Russian nuclear energy company Rosatom has announced that its engineering division Atomstroyexport has finalised a contract with Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power (KHNP) to build turbine islands under the El-Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) project. KHNP will be constructing 80 buildings and structures at four units of the power plant as part of the contract.
