In Oman, the Ministry of Health awarded the Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical of Larsen & Toubro Construction (L&T) a contract to construct the 165-bed Al Namaa General Hospital. The scope of work includes the construction of a G+4 building, including a basement and ancillary buildings.
UAE-based Green Metal Industries will set up a US$100 Mn special steel recycling and production facility in Kezad, Abu Dhabi. Spanning over 116,000 sq m in Kezad Industrial Area, the plant will utilize cutting-edge recycling technologies like melt shops, refining facilities, multi-product continuous casting, and a rolling mill to convert metal scrap into high-quality products for diverse industrial applications, including construction and infrastructure developments.
Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co. announced that it secured two luxury residence construction projects from Emaar Properties in Dubai. The total construction cost amounts to US$223 Mn. Creek Waters 1 and 2 each consist of two basement levels and 52 above-ground floors, totaling 450 and 455 units, respectively.
