Binghatti Properties will launch a new mega-development in Dubai named Binghatti Hills. The project will comprise 1,666 residential units and 21 retail spaces.
A consortium of Mitsubishi Power and Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Co. (HEISCO) was awarded a contract by the Kuwait Ministry of Electricity & Water & Renewable Energy for the optimization, rehabilitation of eight units at the Az-Zour South Power Station. The Az-Zour South Power Station, built in the middle of 1980’s, has a total capacity of 2,400 MW.
In Saudi Arabia, ROSHN Group unveiled ALDANAH, its sixth community project in the Kingdom, and its first in Dhahran. Spanning across 1.7 million sq-mtr, ALDANAH will add over 2,500 residences with a capacity to accommodate nearly 10,000 residents.
Oman-Etihad Rail Company, now called Hafeet Rail, has awarded an estimated $1.35bn design-and-build contract to a consortium of Abu Dhabi-based National Projects Construction (NPC), National Infrastructure Construction Company (NICC), Tristar Engineering & Construction and Oman’s Galfar Engineering & Contracting. On the same 303 km long project, Siemens Mobility and Hassan Allam Construction was awarded a design, build and integration of the ETCS Level 2 signaling, telecom and power supply systems contract.
French Technip Energies was awarded a contract by TotalEnergies and OQ for the Marsa LNG bunkering project in Sohar, Oman. The contract covers the engineering, procurement, and construction.
