The Oman Environmental Services Holding Company “be’ah” signed an agreement with Tialoc and Al Ramooz National to establish the second phase of the industrial waste treatment facility in the Sohar Free Zone.
The second phase of the project includes the development of an integrated facility for industrial waste treatment, encompassing hazardous waste treatment, physical and chemical processing, and facilities for the treatment of used oils and toxic waste in addition to storage tanks and necessary infrastructure.
Galfar Engineering & Contracting announced that it has secured a US$48 Mn civil works contract from Occidental Oman (Oxy). The entire B53 & 72 contract will be executed over five years.

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City announced the commencement of a program to develop ring roads and main roads in Riyadh City, awarding four projects exceeding US$3.4 Bn. The projects include the implementation of a 56 km second southern ring road extending from the new Al-Kharj Road to the Jeddah Road.
The construction of two bridges parallel to the suspension bridge (Wadi Laban Bridge) and develop the intersection of the Western Ring Road with Jeddah Road, with a length of 4km; development of western part of Al-Thumama Road Axis, with a length of 6km, extending from King Khalid Road in the west to King Fahd Road in the east; and Taif Road Extension Project in Laban District to Qiddiya Project, with a length of 16 km.

Azizi Developments has announced completing 41% construction of Azizi Vista in Dubai Studio City, one of Dubai’s most distinguished residential areas. Featuring studio apartments and one- and two-bedroom residences, the development’s projected completion date is set for Q1 of 2025. With overall finishes currently at 23%, progress on Azizi Vista is advancing rapidly. The
structural work is 100% complete, blockwork at 96%, internal plaster at 74%, and HVAC and MEP at 39% and 36%, respectively. The total manpower at the site has been increased to 447.
