China Gezhouba Group signed two contracts with Kuwait’s Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) worth a total of US$557 Mn in Kuwait. The contracts cover the construction and maintenance of roads, electrical substations, and water infrastructure in South Saad Al-Abdullah.
Kuwait Company for Process Plant Construction & Contracting (KCPC) also announced signing an infrastructure contract in the South Saad Al-Abdullah project worth US$290.3 million.
Khimji Ramdas Contracting and Archimedes Marine Engineering bagged a contract from Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth, and Water Resources valued at US$72.7 Mn to build a multi-purpose fishing port in Masirah. The port, spanning 15 hectares, will include 13 floating berths and a sand beach spanning 1.1 km as well as a breakwater extending 4.1 km along the facility.
PowerChina has signed an engineering, procurement, and construction contract with Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) to develop a 500MW single-cycle peak generation gas power plant in Qatar. It facility will include two advanced F-class gas turbine generator units along with supporting auxiliary systems and is expected to be operational by January 2027.
Arada announced the awarding of a US$164 Mn contract to build the first phase of Arada Central Business District (CBD), its upcoming commercial centre in Sharjah, to Modern Building Contracting Company (MBCC). Construction of the first cluster of Arada CBD is expected to commence immediately, with completion and handover scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.

Trio Isle Interiors by Missoni comprises three buildings offering exclusive residential units with a mix of one- to three-bed apartments along with several premium amenities.
The Middle East Paper Manufacturing and Production Company (“MEPCO”), the leading company in the region’s paper industry, announced the laying of the foundation for its 5th paper production line (PM5) in Saudi Arabia, the largest of its kind in the Middle East. The new production line will double MEPCO’s total production capacity from 425,000 tons to 875,000 tons annually.
