Jubail Island Investment Company (JIIC) awarded a US$109 Mn construction contract for the Jubail Town Centre in Souk Al Jubail, the commercial and retail hub of Jubail Island to Bright Accord General Contracting Company.
The project comprises four office buildings and two residential buildings – Jubail Terraces buildings 7 and 8 in addition to beautifully designed outdoor spaces and parks, a mosque, clinic, nursery, supermarket, state-of-the-art fitness centers, retail outlets, 5-star rated F&B pavilions, campus-like offices, wellness hubs, and a community center.
Dar Global and Mouawad announced a groundbreaking partnership, unveiling a US$235 Mn residential project in North Riyadh. Set for handover in Q4 of 2026, the development will encompass 200 luxury residential villas. Mouawad announced another partnership last week with UAE’s Octa Properties to launch exclusive luxury branded residences.
The Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Company (Matarat), in collaboration with the National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP) and the Aseer Development Authority (ASDA) , announced the prequalifiers for the construction of a new Abha International Airport project in the Asir Region. The prequalified bidders include GMR Airports Limited from India, the Turkish Mada TAV consortium, Touwaik Alliance, and VI Asyad daa group.
QatarEnergy, together with Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company, Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Co., and Turkiye’s Atlas Yatirim Planlama, announced plans to establish Qatar Salt Products Company (QSalt), a salt production plant in the Um Al Houl area in Qatar which will be operated by Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) and Qatar Vinyl Company (QVC).
The new plant, which will be built at an estimated cost of about US$280 Mn, will also produce industrial salts essential for the petrochemical industry, along with Bromine, Potassium Chlorides, and demineralized water, which will be produced at a later stage.
